This tutorial uses the magic circle to strengthen the hip flexors in a focused, targeted way. Often overlooked in training, the hip flexors play a vital role in everyday movement; from walking, running, climbing stairs and standing tall, to stabilising the pelvis and supporting efficient movement through the spine and legs.

I personally experienced a massive difference in my rehabilitation when I started to focus on up-leveling my hip flexor strength. It made a pivotal difference in my ability to relearn to run. Providing the strength to develop the necessary coordination, rhythm and tolerance.

For me, strong hip flexors are especially important for dynamic movement. More power and fluidity through the hip joint and less compensation elsewhere. Such an underrated area to train (often in the Pilates space), but incredibly important when it comes to moving dynamically.
