Class Examples

  • Back Extension

    14 MINS

A focused class for developing strength and flexibility of the spine, with an emphasis on thoracic extension. Refine your technique, build awareness and create beautifully elongated back extensions with ease. By encouraging movement through the thoracic spine, this class supports safer, more sustainable back-bending without relying on hinging or compression through the lower back.

  • Pilates Basics

    10 MINS

An introduction to the foundations of Pilates, designed to build body awareness, precision, control and stability. These skills are especially valuable for young, developing bodies. And particularly for dancers who regularly work into deep end-range positions or have hypermobility. By developing strength, alignment and proprioception, this class helps create a more aware and resilient foundation for movement.

  • Demi-Pointe

    15 MINS

Strong, articulate feet are fundamental to classical ballet and other dance techniques; supporting allegro, soft landings - integral to distributing forces and injury prevention. And dynamic, explosive movement. As well as vital preparation for pointe work. This class trains the entire lower limb, demonstrating how ankle plantar flexion is not isolated to the foot, but depends on the integrated strength and organisation of the whole leg.
