NEW TUTORIAL FOR BEGINNER, REHAB & ADVANCED STUDENTS
Perhaps my favorite of the Chair Gait Series! Highly effective for connecting with the back body, hip extensors, eccentric control and ankle mobility, especially as you strive to resist peeling the heel away from the box!
Useful for beginners, rehabilitation and advanced students, choosing the necessary modifications and using support where it’s needed.
Here I’m using for safety and balance; Elements Level Loops (adjustable) * and Elements Y loops for hands (small/narrow)*
*If you are considering purchasing Elements products, please feel free to use my code; AIMEE to receive a 10% discount.
I encourage you to begin with the Gait Series (forward facing) in the Apparatus Gallery. There is a side facing version coming soon, in parallel and turnout. All versions offer great training for functional movements; climbing up, stepping down, trekking, soft sand walking etc… Great for building strength and proprioception through the lower limb. Personally, I’ve always loved the challenge of this series, but it has truly been excellent for rehabilitation.
