You’ll recognise these barre and yoga postures, with a novelty; two balls! Balls that can move; offering proprioceptive and stability challenge. A useful input for those that can easily find their end range positions, demanding integrity and stabilisation around the joints. This pushing action (the more you push into the balls, the more stable they’ll be), will create efficient opposing forces, decompression and elongation.

This class can also be done with one ball; I offer examples during the tutorial. I encourage you to explore this practice with both options, as it will provide different and diverse challenges.

A wonderful class for someone that would like to build strength and integrity in the upper body, for those that desire more stability in the shoulder girdle.

For those that have an inclination to collapse in the midback or hinge from the thoraco-lumbar junction, the application of the balls, command you to connect effectively through the torso to sustain integrity and strength. This has a ripple effect through the body, cultivating more integrity through the lower body, preventing any hanging / laxity through the legs.

Finding those end range postures with strength! And strength through range!
