ASSISTED HANGING

A multi-level, progressive series, using spring and sling assistance to meet you at your level - whether you’re building confidence in this setup or chasing more time-under-tension and complexity. A uniquely creative way to utilise the sling, turning it into a supportive training partner that helps you refine timing, execution and whole-body integration while you hang.

A strong hang is a necessary & valuable mechanical input for the shoulders. Teaching the joint how to organise under load, find space and build resilience throughout the entire shoulder girdle. This upper-body and abdominal strengthening tutorial is a direct, honest way to develop scapular control, lats and serratus integration, with deep core support that translates into stronger pulling mechanics and steadier overhead function.

Alongside shoulder strength, you’ll train practical grip endurance and traction strength. Expect a satisfying dose of decompression too: hanging offers natural spinal traction, inviting length through the thoracic spine and creating a sense of buoyancy even whilst you’re working hard.
